The inevitable slow down

Little Samuel arrived on July 14th and my knitting has pretty much ground to a halt. I was induced, so before the drugs really kicked in I watched the Tour de France and started a washcloth. The picture is actually me knitting after Sam’s arrival. I finished it a few days later.

Now I’m still working (at a much reduced pace) on the Mystery Stole 3. I have also started a brainless project for between feedings: the Everlasting Bagstopper. I could have sworn I saw a similar pattern months ago and I wanted to knit it. I looked in vain for the darn thing & couldn’t find it. Then the Knitty surprise went up & this was in it. Yay! I’m using some of my Eco-fil recycled cotton which certainly fits with the theme of the project. I’m probably half way done, but pictures will come later.

    Samuel is adorable! Congratulations :-)

Perhaps the other bag you were thinking of was the Kitchen Sink bag, also from Knitty? I made that one a few months ago, also from the Eco-Fil Recycled yarn.

aww how very cute, I have a treat for you, well for samuel but it’s not quite finished… is he a small guy? I’ll have to find you somewhere at some point soon so I can give it to you, it’s still to hot to wear it though! Congrats

  3. Leanne, you may be right about the pattern that I was thinking about.

J., thanks in advance. I’m still planning on getting to Thursday afternoons on a fairly regular basis so perhaps we’ll see you soon.
