Happy New Year

Although I’ve been busy with Christmas, the kids, various colds, going to the gym almost daily & food preparation, there has also been knitting. I have been adding to the project info in Ravelry (I’m nservant if you’re there). Here’s a bit of a recap:

- pulled the double knitting star scarf out for another go – added another star so far

- done all but the border grafting & blocking on a SeaSilk Print if the wave scarf with a border modified to fit my remaining yarn

- knit a Friday scarf for Mum for Christmas from Oasis Soysilk – modified to have a moss stitch middle to prevent curling

- knit a feather & fan Koigu scarf for Paige for Christmas (and forgot to take a picture when I was done)

- knit a ribbed hat for Dale for Christmas with tuckable earflaps (modeled by Zoe)

- blocked & gifted the Mystery Stole to Antonet

- Finished the white bag & did a little herringbone thing for straps (they’re great, but I must have misunderstood the directions as they don’t look like the BW picture)

- finished the cotton baby bibs I’ve had on the go for a year (Sam’s eating solids now)

- knit a little scarf for ZoƩ from some cotton I had lying around

Knitting plans for the year? Hmm, let’s see. Finish some stuff that’s already started. Do some toe-up socks. Try a Marianne Kinzel stole pattern that I think would look lovely in the slubby golden rayon/linen blend I used for the Mystery Stole. Baby knitting. More lace knitting. Whatever seems fun at the time.
