This year I’ve been wearing a scarf that I found when unpacking the warm woolies. It’s got to be at least 6 years old, since I am sure I knit it pre-kids. It’s fairly simple, basically Feather & Fan without the holes. I knit it lengthwise & changed yarn every 2 rows, then added in a fringe (totally optional). Simple. And now it’s up on Ravelry as a free download. Merry Christmas to you!
Yarn: About 135 yards of DK weight yarn in each of 4 colours (or however many colours makes you happy).
Needles: 4.5 mm – 5.0 mm – a long circular (since it’s done lengthwise)
Oh, and I’d like to thank byneedleandthread Sarah (aka Little Sarah) for getting me hooked on knitting podcasts. My current must listen one is The Knit Wits. Well, there are other ones that I want to listen to, but if I only had enough time for one, that would be the one.
No problem! It’s so great isn’t it? If I only had one to listen to, I’d pick that one too. Happy holidays!
