Knitters helping the world

A while back I had a pictureless post where I stated my intention to make a donation to MSF/DWB each month this year based on my knitting earnings. You already knew that Knitters Without Borders has raised over $1,000,000, right?

My donation for January was $20. That’s thanks to knitters buying my pattern and to Ravelry for making it possible. Also msf.ca made it even easier for me than before. I was able to donate straight from my Paypal account, which is where the money from Ravelry goes. Yay!

Do you have a little money that you could use to make the world a better place?

Doctors Without Borders gets a bit of money directly from my checking account every month, as does Partners in Health. Both are excellent organizations and ones that I am happy to support.
