When being a yarn collector pays off

I think I’ve admitted in the past that I’m a yarn collector. I’ve got the bins of gorgeous yarn to prove it. This week it’s actually paid off. Louise posted on my Facebook wall that there was a new laceweight yarn in the store in lovely colours.

A few hours later I magically had 2 skeins of the most lovely green to knit a sample for the store. It cost me nothing, I get to knit with the stuff, and if it’s as nice as it feels in the skein, there may be more coming home ;)

Details: Pima Lino Lace from the Diamond Luxury Collection, 60% cotton, 40% linen, 425 metres / 50 grams.

I love that this colour is making me feel that it’s closer to springtime. More on this when I’ve knit a bit.

That’s a fabulous spring green! I can’t wait to hear how you like this yarn. I love that blend and am curious to see what you think.
