No sooner was my purple Lavender Fields shawl of the previous post off the needles than I’d already cast on for a pink one. This time I used worsted weight yarn: Berroco Ultra Alpaca in Fuschia. I bought it at janie h‘s back in January because of the colour.
With my 2 skeins I did 2 repeats of the main body chart (vs. 4 for the fingering weight) and used up all but 14 yards of my 2 skeins. Weighing in at just under 200g, this shawl is about 56″ across and 27″ deep, making it only slightly smaller than the purple one.
You’ll have to forgive me for not going outside again with this one to get better shots, but I’m very happy with how it turned out.
Meanwhile the other test knitters are working away & if everything comes together well the pattern could be out by the end of next week. Yay!
Yay!
It’s just beautiful, Natalie.
