A finished object!

Today, I have a new finished object. It’s also the most recently started object, but at least it’s already done. Yes, it’s another Weeping Willow hat, this time for my husband (although I can wear it if he decides he doesn’t want it). I’m still assuming we’ll eventually get a proper winter that involves weather cold enough to need a double knit hat.

It’s knit from the tragically discontinued Sirdar Eco wool dk. I used less than 1 skein each of  Natural (201) & Earth (203), although it was pretty tight on the Earth. I trimmed a few rows off the pattern just in case, but it would have worked out just about right. The hat fits, which means it’s perfect ;)

And apparently my MSF donations are getting further and further from the start of each month. For October I’ve donated another $20, thanks to all the knitters who’ve bought my patterns.

    I love it!

I have a big giant head. Should I use worsted with that pattern in the hopes it might fit me?
