Clover Shawl – and an upcoming yarn giveaway

Just in time for St. Patrick’s Day, here’s the Clover Shawl:

With a lucky four-leafed clover at the middle, this pattern can sprout into a V-shaped, square or rectangular shawl depending on which instructions you follow. As usual, this pattern is both charted and written. Francine is modeling the V-shaped version, which sits nicely on the shoulders & lends itself to a variety of ways of wearing it:

Auora tested the square version for me and Susan (catsmum) did the rectangular version.

You can find the Clover Shawl on Ravelry on sale for $4 US until the end of St. Patrick’s Day! On March 18th it’ll go to the regular price of $6 US.

I’m putting together a related contest to win a skein of Merino Silk Lace from Indigodragonfly in the “Never Go Up Against a Sicilian When Death Is On The Line” colourway:

The them is “Irish Pride or Princess Bride” (because of the clover/St. Paddy’s Day and the colourway name, folks). More details to come in a day or two, but rest assured that Kim has a lovely skein set aside for the winner of this contest, which will be over on Saturday, March 17th (St. Patrick’s Day, of course). Get your tweeting/FaceBooking/commenting muscles warmed up & ready to go.

Many thanks go to the lovely Francine, my go-to model and all around awesome friend & creator of very cool things.
