Knitters’ reading habits

First, I thought you should know that Robin Hunter’s got an interview with me up on her blog today. I’ve been reading Robin’s blog for ages, so I am thrilled that she’s included me.

In other semi-knitting-related news, I went book shopping online this week. I was looking at the updated¬†The Principles of Knitting by June Hemmons Hiatt. Here’s what I saw. One of these things is not like the others!

Apparently when looking at this book at Chapters, 77% of people buy it, but 4% buy the¬†Guidebook to the Historic Sites of the War of 1812 (link just in case you don’t already have it and have decided you need it as well).

Later on I got another visual reinforcing that knitters aren’t just looking for knitting books:

I’ve contributed my own bit of weirdness to their system. I bought a book on Art Deco Architecture in Toronto, although it hasn’t shipped yet and I’m starting to wonder if they have it or not. Fingers crossed.
