I’ve been busily preparing to teach a double knit hat course at my LYS (this Saturday & next Saturday). I’ve got a swatch prepared and multiple samples to show, but I wanted a new pattern that would be a little bit simpler than Weeping Willow. So here’s the initial version of the Geometric Baby Hat:
I used some Dale Baby Ull that I thought I’d use to make something for my kids when they were little. That never happened!
Now I can move on to swatching an idea that popped into my head complete with a name this week. Cross your fingers that it works out, because it’s making me smile just thinking about it. I can’t guarantee that you’ll find it as funny as I do, but there’s got to be other folks out there that are warped like me, right?
