More from Rhinebeck

I was fairly restrained in my purchases at Rhinebeck this year and I spent a lot of the time hanging out with friends and admiring the lovely views. I was lucky enough to spend time on Saturday afternoon with Danielle Chalson of Makewise Designs and her mom. She’s wearing her Syringa Shawl here:

The weather was picture perfect:

And the fish were still swimming around in the pond:

One last purchase was some lovely green BFL from Fiber Optic Yarns. It didn’t have a colour name of its own, and Sarah C. promptly dubbed it, “Leprechaun, but in a good way”.

She also bought some fiber from Kimber and I’ve committed to spinning it up for her. With beautiful blues like this it won’t be a hardship!

Saw those fish too, but was more impressed with the lotus leaves. Also bought some r0ving from Fiber Optic–Shetland in shades of claret. Didn’t see you there; I was too busy ogling the wool!
