Yes, it’s true – the fish blanket is finally complete. Phew. It took 9 years from start to finish, approximately, with a rather long space of nothing happening in the middle. I’m so glad I cleaned out the stash. Yes, this should (and will likely) be blocked, but I’m just so darn happy it’s done.
I can’t decide whether I like the colours or not (depends on the day), but you wouldn’t lose a kid if they were lying on this blanket.
And I’ve been very good and not started my Olympic knitting yet. Instead last night I decided to start using up some of my little balls of leftover sock yarn. Cute, no?
