Using up the Smooth

After finishing the baby cardigan, now I had a little bit of yellow and a whole lot of teal left. I wanted to use it up. I vaguely remembered seeing something in the LYS about a chemo cap competition (whoa! note to self – they’re currently having a 25% off sale), and I thought this would be an excellent opportunity to try out Odessa again, yes, without beads yet again. This means that I’ll just have to knit the pattern again eventually, with beads, just cause.

So here’s the finished item. I figured the King Cole Smooth yarn would be good for a chemo cap because it’s, well, so smooth. It’s some of the nicest acrylic I’ve ever used.
