I was musing on my way home about the different expressions for groups of animals. You know: a flock of sheep, a murder of crows, a pride of lions, etc. This made me wonder what name you’d give to a collection of stash yarn. Here are a few that popped into my head:
- a surfeit of skeins
- a wholesomeness of wool
- a sinfulness of silk
- an abundance of alpaca
So now you know where my mind goes on the drive home. Thinking about the stash just makes me want to knit even more!
I’m stepping away from the computer shortly to do some of that knitting stuff and to work through the initial version of a new pattern I’m sending out to be test knit next week. If all goes well, it’ll be out in time for Rhinebeck. That’s the goal! Here’s a sneak peek at the shape of things to come:
