Hello all! We have successfully moved almost all of our stuff to the new house. We’ve even got 11 of 13 sets of curtains hung. There are still boxes scattered all around, but there are fewer than before. It’s been a bit of a crazy week, but things are working out.
Things were so crazy that I forgot to make my regular monthly donation to MSF/DWB, but I’ve fixed that today. I donated $40 for July.
There has also been knitting. I’m working away on my new Vineyards shawl. This will be part 3 of the 4 part Summer in Provence e-book. Here’s a shot of the test swatch I did.
Hopefully you can see the vine/leaves in the body and the bunches of grapes in the border. It doesn’t have to be done in 2 colours, I just thought it would be fun to try. I’m working through the full scarf in lovely Glacier Ice Lace from Rocky Mountain Dyeworks in the Vineyard colour that Hasmi dyed for me. Mmm, baby alpaca and silk…
It’s delicious. I’m working away as much as I can and I’m aiming to finish it soon!
Beautiful yarn and knitting!
