I did have something in mind when I started spinning last week’s yarn. My beautiful Sweet Wine yarn got wound up as soon as it was dry on Saturday:
I turned it into another Meander Shawl. I just thought the colours were perfect for a trip to Rhinebeck in the fall. It came off the needles fairly small:
But then I blocked the heck out of it:
Perfect! And I’ve got a shawl pin to make sure it stays put if it’s windy out. It’s packed for Rhinebeck. Everything’s all ready and we’re heading out in the morning as soon as the kids are in school. Road trip!
That is a perfect autumn shawl!
Love it!
